What is a ROO carpet?
It is a round woolen carpet either of mixed colors or monochrome. Wool yarn became our brand yarn by an incredible coincidence – the very first yarn that astonished us by it’s color was made of wool! And it is not a secret anymore -it’s ocean blue.
A ROO carpet is a product of wool, mostly 100% of wool, but some of our carpets might have a mix of wool and synthetic fiber (check this under each carpet’s description).
Wool is a fiber obtained mostly from sheep and consists of protein together with small amount of lipids. Wool is a natural material. It is used for clothing, blankets and other things to keep warm. Wool can protect from heat as well as absorb moisture. Wool carpets are suitable for high safety environments. Wool is actually a soft material compared to a synthetic fiber.
